Qualifications
Must be able to work 40 hours a week, ideally without asynchronous classes.
Willingness to work up to 50 hours a week early March through April 15th.
Completion of Tax curriculum prior to internship is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop foundational understanding of trial balances and general ledgers.
Prepare fixed asset depreciation schedules for tax bases.
Input and adjust client trial balances within tax software.
Manage engagement time effectively, including budget awareness.
Prepare individual and business tax returns for review.
Practice skills for federal and state tax returns.
Multitask and manage deadlines in a public accounting environment.
