Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC is seeking Tax and Audit Interns for Winter 2027 across the Greater Chicagoland area, including Chicago, Oak Brook, and Schererville. The role is part-time and based on-site at multiple Illinois and Indiana locations.

Responsibilities include preparing various tax returns and performing audit and assurance work, while gaining experience with CLA procedures and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (strongly preferred).
• Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and others.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Supports client engagements on time and within budget.
• Communicates with clients and CLA team members regularly.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
