Job summary

CLA Wealth Advisors, LLC in Denver and Salt Lake City is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for Winter 2027. This part-time role runs January through April 2027, with responsibilities across individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, as well as audit and assurance support.

You will assist on multiple client engagements, learn procedures, and contribute to on-time delivery. Qualified candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• CPA exam eligibility per state requirements is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through training opportunities and client exposure.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
