Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for our Marshfield, Stevens Point, and Wausau offices. The role starts January 2028 and ends April 2028, offering hands-on experience in tax preparation and audit procedures within a collaborative, professional environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA exam eligibility, and a willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
