Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is offering an accounting internship in Virginia, with opportunities to explore audit or tax and gain exposure to diverse industries. You will work alongside senior staff, developing technical skills through hands-on client engagements and supporting entry-level associates.

Internships may be part-time or full-time depending on office needs, with winter and summer programs available. You will contribute to assurance, tax, or a mix of both while pursuing CPA eligibility and

Qualifications

• Interns must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility.
• Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns.
• Calculate tax extensions or estimated payments.
• Participate in client meetings with Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
