Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an entry-level tax and assurance professional to join our team in the United States. You will prepare various tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership) and support audit engagements with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires working toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA exam eligibility, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel to client sites and learn new technologies is expected.

Qualifications

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services
• Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget
• Identify issues and communicate progress
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities
• Complete research and special projects as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis
