Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking Tax/Audit Interns across Andover, MA and other offices (Boston, Providence, Quincy, Worcester). The program begins January 2028 and ends April 2028, offering exposure to tax preparation, audits, and client engagements.

You will learn procedures, workpapers, and networks within a supportive team. You will contribute to completing returns, assisting engagements on time and within budget, and gaining broad industry knowledge through trainings and client

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; degree strongly preferred.
• Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
