Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for our Maumee and Findlay, Ohio locations. The anticipated start date is January 2028. This internship offers exposure to tax returns, audits, and client work within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Interns will gain experience with tax filings, assurance services, and professional training opportunities while supporting multiple client engagements. Travel to client sites may be required as part of the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; degree in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.
• Credit requirements to sit for CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
