Job summary

CLA Nashville, TN is seeking Tax/Audit Associates to join our team as we deliver high-quality tax and assurance services to a diverse client base. The role will develop strong technical and client-facing skills in a collaborative environment.

The anticipated start date is June 2027. You will prepare returns, participate in audits and reviews, and gain experience across procedures, workpapers, and client communications while supported by a structured training program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (strongly preferred in Accounting/Finance).
• CPA exam eligibility per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge, through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
