Job summary

Aprio's Tax team is hiring a Tax Associate to join a fast-growing advisory firm. You will apply technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance engagements and prepare tax returns (1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040) for diverse clients.

You will participate in tax planning, client consultations, and professional development activities, with occasional travel and strong collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; entry level considered.
• Exposure to tax return preparation is ideal.
• Degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance engagements.
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040).
• Participate in tax planning and consultation for clients.
• Engage in professional development activities and networking with senior leadership.
