Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, invites you to join its Tax team in Phoenix. As a Tax Associate you will support consulting and compliance engagements, and prepare returns (1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040).

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in public accounting, a degree in Accounting, strong writing and communication, and the ability to travel occasionally. Aprio offers growth opportunities, a collaborative culture, and remote/hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of public accounting experience; entry level
• Degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing skills
• Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040)
• Participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients
• Participate in professional development activities, including training sessions and networking events, and work closely with Senior Leadership.

• Some exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal
• Degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred

• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis
