Job summary

Hantz Group, a Michigan-based family office, is seeking a Tax Associate to join our tax team. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience analyzing tax liability, preparing projections and returns, and collaborating with CPAs and financial advisors to optimize client outcomes.

You will develop professional skills in tax planning, compliance, and client service while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment that values initiative and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent designation.
• Ability to obtain active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
