Job summary

Linklaters in New York seeks an experienced attorney to represent sponsors of alternative investment funds and to advise on the taxation of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and private equity funds and structures.

A strong candidate will have international transaction experience, 4 to 6 years of law firm experience (class years of 2020–2022 preferred), and excellent written and oral communication skills. JD and Tax LL.M required; New York Bar admission required.

Qualifications

• Experience representing sponsors of alternative investment funds.
• Experience with the taxation of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and private equity funds and structures.
• Experience with international transactions.
• 4–6 years of law firm experience preferred (class years 2020–2022).
• Candidate should be self-starters and team-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
