Job summary

PwC in New York seeks a Tax Associate to help deliver tailored tax services and navigate the global tax landscape. You will engage in learning, client engagement, and growth, while contributing to tax research, compliance, and planning with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will develop skills in tax consulting and be exposed to diverse clients while working with teams to optimize tax positions and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Entry-level role for students nearing degree completion.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns to meet compliance requirements
• Supporting the development of tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize risks
• Conducting tax research and analysis to provide insights on domestic and international tax matters
• Collaborating with teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services for diverse industries
• Engaging in multistate tax compliance and reporting to address jurisdictional tax obligations
• Participating in the preparation of tax provisions and modeling to support financial reporting
• Contributing to the preparation of partnership tax returns and related documentation
• Assisting in the development of tax structures and planning for international tax planning initiatives
• Utilizing data analytics to enhance tax compliance and reporting processes
• Supporting regulatory compliance consulting to navigate complex tax regulations
