Job summary

PwC in the United States is seeking a Tax Associate to help deliver tailored tax services, assist in corporate tax returns, and learn within a collaborative practice.

In this role you will conduct tax research, support strategy development, and contribute to international and multistate tax planning while building client relationships. Travel up to 20% is required; the position offers an annual discretionary bonus and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
• Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns to meet compliance requirements
• Supporting the development of tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize risks
• Conducting tax research and analysis to provide insights on domestic and international tax matters
• Collaborating with teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services for diverse industries
• Engaging in multistate tax compliance and reporting to address jurisdictional tax obligations
• Participating in the preparation of tax provisions and modeling to support financial reporting
• Contributing to the preparation of partnership tax returns and related documentation
• Assisting in the development of tax structures and planning for international tax planning initiatives
• Utilizing data analytics to enhance tax compliance and reporting processes
• Supporting regulatory compliance consulting to navigate complex tax regulations
