EisnerAmper in Birmingham is seeking an entry-level Tax Associate to support a growing tax team. You will prepare basic to intermediate tax returns, onboard new returns, and assist with season preparations across client engagements.

Candidates should have a degree in accounting and 0-2 years public accounting experience. In-office work is required, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative, merit-based firm.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
• 0-2 years recent public accounting experience.
• This position does have in-office requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare basic and intermediate level tax returns
• Onboard new returns
• Assist with various tasks to prepare for upcoming tax season
• Update returns for simple investor comments
• Conduct basic tax research and correspondence
• Provide support on special tax projects and initiatives
• Organize and save PBC documents to Caseware
• Roll forward prior year files
• Prepare tax credit calculations
• Assist with administrative tasks (engagement letters, sending drafts, preparing trackers)
