PwC in Kansas City is seeking a Tax Associate to deliver tailored tax services, learn on the job, and contribute to client engagements with a focus on compliance and planning. You will work within our Industry Tax Practice and be mentored to deepen technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

You will participate in research, assist in preparing corporate and partnership returns, and support multistate and international tax planning as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and typically align with the final year of studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and filing of corporate tax returns for compliance.
• Support development of tax strategies to optimize positions and minimize risks.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on domestic and international matters.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver tailored tax consulting services.
• Engage in multistate tax compliance and reporting.
• Assist in preparing tax provisions and modeling for reporting.
• Contribute to partnership tax returns and related docs.
• Support international tax planning initiatives and structures.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance compliance and reporting.
• Assist in regulatory compliance consulting across tax regulations.
