Job summary

E.A. Buck Financial Services is seeking a Tax Associate to join EABATS in our Denver, CO office. This full-time, on-site role handles individual and business tax returns, bookkeeping, and client support, with collaboration across Buck teams.

Ideal candidates have completed at least one tax season, are detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities during tax season. Enrollment agent credentials are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one full tax season of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; EA credential preferred but not required.
• Background check including fingerprinting and reference checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns with organized tax workpapers and documentation.
• Coordinate delivery and presentation of completed tax returns, including electronic delivery when appropriate.
• Respond to client questions, schedule appointments, and assist with client servicing throughout the year.
• Prepare billing for completed tax returns and help meet tax and client-service deadlines.
• Gather and reconcile bank statements and transaction data to support monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Assist with applicable tax filings and other accounting duties as required.
• Research tax and accounting questions and monitor regulatory changes.
• Participate in continuing education and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
