Job summary

Lucida Tax and Accounting Solutions is looking for a Tax Associate to join a team of over 90 professionals serving diverse clients across Wisconsin. You will prepare and review federal and state business and individual tax returns and contribute to planning projects.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and a proactive approach. Requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, 2–3 tax seasons’ experience, and familiarity with Thomson Reuters software; location in Wisconsin preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2–3 full busy seasons working in tax returns.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
• Assist with tax planning and projections requested by clients.
• Stay updated on changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
• Consult with clients to develop an understanding of their financial affairs and tax liabilities.
• Answer calls and emails from clients in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
