Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring an in-person Tax Associate to join a hands-on, apprenticeship-style program. You will review each client's tax situation, provide clear advice, and build trust with guidance from advanced technology.

You will partner with a Client Care Specialist, use Copilot and ChatGPT for efficiency, and grow through ongoing training while delivering a client-first experience across busy tax seasons.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent.
• Experience delivering service in a client-facing environment.
• Clear communication and active listening to identify client needs.
• Strong problem-solving and information-organizing abilities.
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-based assistants like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Care Specialist to gather client info and focus on tax review.
• Review client tax situations and provide clear, actionable advice.
• Use technology to prepare returns and ensure accuracy.
• Ask open questions to understand needs and identify savings opportunities.
• Recommend relevant products and services based on client circumstances.
