Levelociti is recruiting for Tax Staff Accountant / Tax Associate roles that are fully remote across the United States. You’ll prepare federal and state returns for individuals and entities, coordinate extensions and estimates, and engage with a diverse client base from real estate to entertainment.

The position emphasizes mentorship, career growth, and strong client service within a collaborative, nationwide remote team.

Formación

• Minimum tax experience in public accounting (internship considered).
• Experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; MBA/CMA/CPA-related credentials preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, including partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
• Assist with tax compliance, extensions, estimated payments, and supporting workpapers.
• Work with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, real estate, entertainment, and privately held businesses.
• Communicate with clients to gather tax documentation, answer questions, and provide updates.
• Assist senior tax professionals with tax research, planning, and other client engagements.
• Collaborate with Tax Seniors, Managers, and Partners to ensure timely completion of client work.

We're hiring multiple Tax Staff Accountants / Tax Associates to join a growing, well-established CPA & Advisory firm offering a fully remote opportunity anywhere in the United States. Headquartered in California with 70+ professionals working remotely across the country, the firm provides comprehensive Tax, Accounting, and Business Advisory services to a diverse client base, including High-Net-Worth Individuals, Entertainment, Real Estate, and other commercial and privately held businesses. The firm takes a personalized, relationship-driven approach to client service, offering the resources and exposure to sophisticated clients typically associated with larger firms while maintaining a collaborative, close-knit culture. We're looking for tax professionals with a foundation in public accounting who want to continue developing their technical skills while gaining exposure to a broad range of clients and tax matters. Location: 100% Remote – Anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tax Seniors, Managers, and Partners to ensure accurate and timely completion of client work.

Qualifications

• Previous tax experience within a public accounting / CPA firm required (internship experience considered).
• Experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on client service.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a fully remote team.
• Eagerness to learn, develop technical skills, and build a long-term career in public accounting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $65,000 – $80,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Tax Opportunities

While we're actively hiring multiple Tax Associates / Tax Preparers, we also have additional opportunities available for experienced Tax Seniors and Tax Supervisors, with base salaries ranging from $85,000 – $125,000+, based on experience, seniority, and qualifications.
