  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary documentation, clarify financial information, and resolve outstanding tax-related questions.
  • Collaborate with senior tax professionals to address complex tax matters and ensure the accuracy and completeness of client deliverables.
  • Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with internal procedures and applicable professional standards.
  • Assist with responding to tax notices and other correspondence from federal and state taxing authorities.
  • Stay informed of relevant tax law changes and industry developments that may impact clients.
  • Contribute to process improvements and initiatives designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax function.

  • Experience preparing individual federal and state income tax returns.
  • Familiarity with investment-related tax reporting, including interest, dividends, capital gains, and partnership K-1s.
  • Understanding of fundamental tax compliance requirements and applicable federal and state tax regulations.
  • Experience with professional tax preparation software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and interpret tax-related information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-service-oriented environment.
  • CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
What Success Looks Like:
  • Accurate and timely preparation of individual tax returns and related compliance deliverables.
