Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to service clients locally. The role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, handling routine client questions, and providing research support to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA eligibility is preferred, and about 1 year of relevant experience. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior internship(s) may be acceptable).
• Ability to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team.
• Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

How you'll create opportunities in this Experienced Tax Associate role:

• Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team. Handle routine client tax questions and work with client to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
• Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
