Key Responsibilities
TaxPreparation & Compliance
- Prepare and/or review individual, trust, partnership, S-corporation, and corporate incometaxreturns.
- Coordinate the collection and review oftaxdocumentation from clients.
- Ensuretaxreturns are completed accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Stay current on changes intaxlaws and regulations that may impact clients.
- Assist clients with responding totaxnotices and requests from taxing authorities.
TaxPlanning & Advisory
- Identify proactivetaxplanning opportunities for clients throughout the year.
- Preparetaxprojections and scenario analyses.
- Collaborate withWealthManagement Advisors to developtax-efficient financial planning strategies.
- Assist clients with retirement income planning from ataxperspective.
- Evaluatetaximplications of investment decisions, charitable giving strategies, Roth conversions, business transactions, and retirement distributions.
- Participate in client planning meetings and providetax-related guidance.
WealthManagement Team Collaboration
- Serve as a dedicatedtaxresource for theWealthManagement team.
- Work closely with advisors to incorporatetaxconsiderations into comprehensive financial plans.
- Support business development efforts by demonstrating the value of integratedtaxandwealthmanagement services.
- Collaborate with Client Service Associates and Advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Help educate advisors and team members regardingtaxdevelopments and planning opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Explain complextaxconcepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional client service and long-term relationship building.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Three to seven years oftaxpreparation experience.
- Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation.
- Experience preparing complex individualtaxreturns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Preferred
- CPA designation or CPA candidate.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
- Familiarity with financial planning concepts andwealthmanagement services.
- Experience withtaxplanning andtaxprojection strategies.
- Interest in developing broader financial planning and advisory expertise.
