Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen in Bellevue (and Tacoma) is seeking Tax/Audit Associates to join our CLA values-driven team. You will prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and more, and contribute to audits and other assurance services.

The role offers opportunities to gain experience, work with clients, and learn through training; travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accounting/finance degree preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree required - Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.

• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.

• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.

• Willingness to learn new technologies.

• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

The wage range for this position is: $58,400 - $100,000.

Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
