What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using employer's TurboTax products with sound professional judgment
- Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, and manage product/software inquiries
- Maintain sensitive customer information in a responsible and safe manner
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customer inquiries
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software
- Must possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or be able to obtain one
- Ability to obtain any related state licenses or permits as necessary
- Must have an internet connection that meets employer's security criteria
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week across three or more days
