X-ELIO in Washington, DC is seeking a Tax Analyst to join the US tax team. Based in our hybrid DC office, you will collaborate with Tax HQ on federal and state tax matters, and support ongoing planning and audits. This role offers growth in an international renewable energy company and exposure to ITC and tax equity processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of tax experience, a CPA is strongly preferred, and a proactive, hands-on attitude in a multi-state, international environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and state income tax, sales & use tax, property tax and multi-state structures.
• Experience in renewable energy tax is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with the Texas tax landscape is a bonus given portfolio.
• Proactive, hands-on and eager to learn in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the US tax team's on the ground presence.
• Support Tax HQ in overseeing federal and state income tax compliance, including reviews of filings prepared by external advisors.
• Coordinate and supervise state and local tax compliance, including sales & use tax, property tax and franchise tax.
• Work with Tax HQ on tax structuring, ITC and tax equity matters, and ongoing planning.
• Contribute to analysis, strategy, and management of IRS/state audits, notices and disputes in the US.
