Job summary

Koch is seeking a Tax Analyst in Wichita, KS to join a growing tax team and develop foundational tax, accounting, and analytical skills.

You will prepare federal, state, and local tax filings, assist with tax accounting and reporting, analyze data, and collaborate with finance and business teams across Koch companies to understand transactions and their tax implications. College students graduating Dec 2026 or May 2027 are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business degree program and expected to graduate in December 2026 or May 2027.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing or interested in a career in taxation, accounting, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings to support compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with tax accounting and reporting activities, including quarterly and annual tax calculations.
• Analyze financial and operational data to support tax positions and business decision-making.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and business teams across Koch companies to understand business transactions and their tax implications.
• Research tax issues and assist in evaluating the impact of new tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain workpapers, documentation, and supporting analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology, and increase efficiency within the tax organization.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while communicating progress and results to team members and supervisors.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to build technical tax, business, and leadership capabilities.
