Job summary

DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Tax Analyst to support state and local tax reviews for DMA clients. This role focuses on data collection, data entry, and collaboration with assessors to maximize tax savings.

You will generate client reports, maintain organized files, and perform basic tax research under supervision. A strong Excel/Word background and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting/finance/business or economics is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of professional work experience, preferably in an administrative support role.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from clients and organize it for review.
• Enter data into Property Tax database and Excel spreadsheets.
• Communicate with assessors and tax collectors about notices, valuations, and deadlines.
• Prepare client reports and standard correspondence to clients.
• Update and maintain organized client files and support travel arrangements.
