CFS is seeking a Tax Analyst to manage multi-state sales and use tax compliance, filings, and notices from their West Palm Beach office. The role involves reviewing exemption certificates, reconciling tax accounts, and guiding internal teams on tax questions.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in multi-state sales tax in a corporate setting, strong Excel skills, and up-to-date knowledge of current tax regulations. This position offers an in-office schedule Monday–Friday 8–5.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on multi-state sales tax compliance experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of current sales and use tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-state sales and use tax compliance processes, including filings, payments, and tax notices.
  • Review, validate, and maintain customer and vendor exemption certificates.
  • Reconcile tax accounts and support accurate general ledger reporting.
  • Provide tax guidance to internal teams and assist with customer tax inquiries.
  • Coordinate data collection and support external providers with tax return and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with tax audits, registrations, account closures, and process improvement initiatives.
