Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This includes assisting in the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences;
Gather supporting documents to prepare the Medpace Federal, State & Local income tax returns;
Assist in gathering supporting documents for Federal, State & International audits by tax authorities;
Assist Tax Manager/Director on various tax planning initiatives;
Research changes in tax legislation and its potential impact to Medpace;
Assist in compliance with SOX controls for the tax department;
May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years tax experience;
Knowledge of ONESOURCE Income Tax is preferred;
Must be able to collaborate in a team environment;
Demonstrate ability to present relevant information and facilitate a meeting;
Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy;
Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business;
