Job summary

Soltis Investment Advisors, a nationwide fee-only Registered Investment Advisory Firm, seeks a Tax Advisor to manage federal, state, and local tax compliance for corporate, partnership, and individual filings. You will conduct research, ensure regulatory adherence, and coordinate with auditors and external advisors.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of public accounting or corporate tax experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with multi-state taxation and complex returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2–4 years of public accounting or corporate tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experience preparing complex tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, nonprofit).
• Familiarity with multi-state tax compliance and filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on legislation changes.
• Manage tax calendars and timely filing of returns and payments.
• Support month-end and year-end close with tax-related accruals.
