Job summary

Sherpa is seeking a Tax Advisor in Charlotte, NC to prepare returns for individuals and entities and to support client tax activities with accuracy and compliance. 2–4 years of tax compliance experience and CPA or Enrolled Agent credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of tax compliance experience is necessary (individual/partnership/corporation/trust).
• CPA or Enrolled Agent candidate required.
• Solid understanding and experience with federal and state tax compliance.
• Prior experience preparing complex individual/s-corp/estate/partnership tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, partnership, corporation and fiduciary income tax returns for review
• Support clients in tax related activities
• Manage communication with IRS, tax authorities or other parties
• Prepare and e-file W-2’s, 1099MISC, 1099NEC, and 1099INT
