The Tax Advisor is a senior‑level individual contributor on Sequoia Financial Group's Tax Team who operates at the intersection of hands‑on tax compliance and strategic client‑facing advisory work — managing the full lifecycle of individual and trust tax returns and projections, while also serving as the firm's internal subject matter expert on evolving tax law. Beyond the technical work, this role carries real client relationship responsibility: the Tax Advisor actively participates in and sometimes leads client meetings alongside advisors, manages proactive outreach, prepares agendas, and ensures timely follow‑up — all with a high standard of confidentiality and fiduciary care.
