Job summary

The ideal candidate has strong tax knowledge, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to client service. CPA/EA pursuit is encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of tax preparation experience.
  • Experience preparing individual, trust, and business tax returns.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, trust, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
  • Develop proactive tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors on tax strategies for shared clients.
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues as they arise.
  • Participate in client meetings and present tax planning recommendations.
  • Monitor tax law changes and communicate impacts to clients and staff.
  • Assist with workflow management and seasonal tax planning initiatives.
  • Process accounts payable invoices.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support accounting operations.
  • Help strengthen and improve internal controls.

What You'll Do
