Jockey-International in Kenosha, WI is offering a Tax Accounting Intern position at our corporate headquarters. The role provides onsite training in the Finance/Accounting fields and close collaboration with our corporate tax team on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Junior status preferred) with strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible scheduling supports class commitments.

Plus, work schedules are very flexible in order accommodate class schedules/commitments.

JOCKEY OFFERS:

Onsite, professional training in the Finance/Accounting fields

Ongoing Manager and professional mentoring

The Tax Accounting Intern will work closely with our corporate tax team on a variety of projects, including:

Property Tax return compliance.

Update personal property tax spreadsheets and prepare annual returns for multiple jurisdictions/states.

Process business license/tax forms per monthly calendar.

Process and track check requests.

Create Excel spreadsheets to assist in account analysis.

General filing and clerical tasks.

Perform other duties/projects as requested.

Candidate Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. (Junior status desired.) GPA of 3.0 or above.

General accounting experience helpful (gained through classroom or internship experience).

• Solid computer skills in the MS-Office suite; strong Excel skills.

Strong time management skills in order to meet project deadlines.

• Good oral communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Ability to work at Jockey's corporate office in Kenosha, WI. (No relocation or housing assistance provided for this position.)
