Job summary

Vertex Tax Co-Op internship supports US federal, state, and local tax accounting, compliance, and planning.

As part of the team, you will assist with quarterly tax provisions, collect data for tax returns, resolve notices, support audits, evaluate processes, and contribute to automation and planning projects. The program runs January to June 2027, with hybrid or on-site options and a paid internship at $20–$32/hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's in accounting or related field.
• Experience with Excel and data handling.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Legal work authorization in the US.
• Enrollment in an advanced degree program if graduating before June 2027.
• Full-time availability for Jan–Jun 2027.
