Qualifications

• Knowledge of sales and use tax compliance, exemption certificate management, and corporate tax reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, general ledger systems, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and use tax compliance activities, including transaction uploads, reconciliations, return preparation, filings, payments, and exemption certificate management.
• Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and third-party tax providers for accurate tax reporting and issue resolution.
• Perform monthly tax account reconciliations and maintain accurate tax records and reporting schedules.
• Prepare and coordinate payment of property tax returns and assessments, including accrual reconciliations.
• Support income, corporate, gross receipts, and other tax reporting with calculations, schedules and workpapers.
• Partner with auditors and tax advisors to support audits, respond to notices, and ensure compliance.
• Drive tax process improvements, manage calendars, answer help desk inquiries, and assist with special tax projects.
