Our client a rapidly growing global organization with a strong presence in multiple sectors, including media, publishing, and education is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Tax Accountant to join their dynamic tax team at their U.S. headquarters.

Position requires working in the office in NYC for 2 days each month, with the remaining days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support for management in compliance, planning, reporting, audits, and other tax-related matters.
• Assist with state tax inquiries, audits, and M&A-related requests when necessary.
• Prepare, analyze, review, and file federal and state corporate and/or partnership returns, both standalone and consolidated, along with supporting schedules.
• Review and prepare various international forms
• Handle quarterly tax provisions for assigned business units and prepare related reporting packages for management.
• Collect relevant data and maintain accurate tax workpapers and records in support of filings and provisions.
• Process ad-hoc tax filings and ensure the timely remittance of tax payments.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, either in a large industry or public accounting.
• CPA, MBA, JD, or media business experience is a plus but not required
• Experience with U.S. tax laws, multi-state income, and franchise tax.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, provisions, and accounting principles
