Position Details

• Position: Summer Worker
• Pay: $17.48/hr

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential functions include:

• Starting and ending times are negotiable
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Report to the Purchasing Manager
• Assist in receipt and packaging of incoming goods
• Prepare goods for transport to DCSD buildings
• Assist in inventory counts and stocking shelves
• Record on bill of lading
• Pull and fulfill stock requests
• Assist with loading/unloading district delivery trucks
• Move fixed assets and textbooks between buildings
• Assist with pickup and delivery of summer materials
• Other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs
• Ability to follow directions and stand or walk for long periods
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Aptitude for working with numbers and units of measure
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
