Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is looking for a qualified instructor to develop and manage a tattoo apprenticeship program. This role requires a licensed tattooist capable of providing technical instruction and supervising offenders.

In addition to fulfilling the program's instructional duties, the successful candidate will design coursework related to safety and infection control and maintain relationships with the tattoo community for job placement support.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid tattoo artist license from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
• Ability to supervise tattoo apprenticeship practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a vocational tattoo apprenticeship program.
• Design curriculum and deliver technical instruction.
• Supervise participants and track tattooing hours.
• Act as a liaison for post-program employment support.
