Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Avon, OH, is seeking a friendly Tasting Room Attendant to turn tastings into memorable experiences through conversation, wine knowledge, and hospitality. You will guide guests through wines and retail items, and invite them to join the Wine Club as part of our community.

The role supports a wine-forward guest experience with a focus on service excellence, teamwork, and continuous wine education.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, retail, or wine environments preferred.
• Comfort speaking to guests about wine and the Wine Club.
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Flexible availability including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through our wines and retail offerings and invite them to join the Wine Club.
• Prepare your station for service and keep it clean and stocked.
• Study Cooper’s Hawk menu, retail items, and wines offered to guests.
• Restock and maintain product displays.
• Support the team with carryout orders and guest service in other areas when needed.
• Communicate with team members to deliver smooth and memorable service.
• Welcome every guest warmly and answer questions about wine, food, and our Wine Club.
• Proactively build relationships with guests and create memorable moments.
• Use knowledge of the Wine Club to invite and inform guests of perks and benefits.
