Established in 2019, Domaine Lumineux pays homage to founder Francis Ford Coppola’s fascination with science and the interplay between light and wine. Our wines are crafted from fruit grown in the renowned Dundee Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, a region long celebrated for producing exceptional Pinot Noir since its earliest plantings in 1965.

Our tasting room, located in the heart of downtown Newberg, offers a welcoming, thoughtfully curated experience that brings together wine, film, music, and genuine hospitality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • 70% Sales and Service:
    • Host experiences that educate guests on history, brands, vineyards, winemaking, and wines, ultimately leading to an engaging experience that creates brand loyalty and wine sales.
    • Create a memorable experience for all guests who enter the property through a high standard of customer service.
    • Manage high volume wine and merchandise transactions.
    • Create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our door and treat everyone with respect.
    • Build relationships with guests to maximize the sale of wine, merchandise and winery tours and experiences.
    • Engage in conversations with guests and provide them with a genuine and personable experience.
    • Create opportunities to sell other events, services and experiences offered on the property.
    • Present the benefits of the Academy program to guests, contributing to the growth of the wine club and obtaining goals.
    • Work as a team with other associates to reach daily and monthly sales targets.
    • Host guests in our retail spaces, including evenings, weekends and during events.
    • Manage multiple groups at a time, keeping track of their tastings and anticipating their needs.
    • Monitor guests for intoxication and adhere to OLCC guidelines.
    • Facilitate shipping to customers and meet all compliance and regulatory requirements of wine shipments.
  • 30% Daily Operations:
    • Ensure smooth daily operations; including effective and appropriate communication, successfully managing traffic flow throughout the day and overseeing that guests are being engaged and entertained.
    • Process transactions, stock wine, and assist guests with purchases.
    • Perform opening and closing duties.
    • Follow all safety practices, trainings and proactively mitigate risks for both employees and guests.
    • Maintain clean and organized environment and take part in housekeeping efforts.
    • Prepare cheese and charcuterie boards to company standards and adhere to food safety guidelines.
    • Support and embrace company policy.
    • Pack and prepare member wine allocations.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A.
