Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Task Order Project Manager for an exciting remote opportunity.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with DLA Business Partners, DLA Application Portfolios, and Industry as the Enterprise Engineering authority; and to provide support and guidance in the areas of Solutions Engineering, Enterprise System Engineering, Configuration Management, Enterprise Testing and Enterprise IT Accessibility aligning to DLA strategy.

The Project Manager shall support collaboration with DLA Business Partners, the CTO, the Program Executive Officer, and DLA Application Portfolios. The mission is to lead DLA technology strategic efforts through analysis and implementation of advanced and emerging technology capabilities and institutionalize a DLA technology-focused capability to guide technology adoption, standardization and innovation.

The position requires excellent customer service skills and technical ability. Experience operating in a Government or Military culture is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
  • Serve as the project manager for large, complex task orders and shall assist the Program Manager in working with:
    • Government Contracting Officer (KO)
    • Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
    • the task order-level Task Order Managers
    • Government management personnel
    • customer agency representatives
  • Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s)
  • Ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner

  • Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
  • Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer
  • Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
  • Five (5) years project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
  • Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
  • BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience
  • Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other equivalent nationally recognized certification)

  • Secret

  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
