Position Overview

S2i2 is seeking a qualified Task Order Project Manager to provide programmatic oversight and leadership for a large, complex task order, or a group of related task orders, under a Federal IT services contract. The Task Order Project Manager will assist the Program Manager in coordination with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, and customer agency representatives to ensure all contractual, technical, and performance objectives are achieved. This position requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to manage multiple concurrent efforts and deliver solutions on schedule and within scope.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all task order-level management and coordination activities.
  • Provide oversight and direction to technical and administrative staff assigned to the task order.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and performance in alignment with the Program Manager's guidance.
  • Coordinate with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, and customer agency representatives to ensure responsive and effective execution of requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure compliance with all task order terms.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions and task order milestones.
  • Conduct status briefings, progress reviews, and quality checks to ensure contractual and technical compliance.
  • Support the Program Manager in preparing reports, performance metrics, and staffing documentation.
  • Ensure all personnel comply with security and performance standards required by the Government.
Minimum Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of project management or equivalent experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector, specifically in IT and/or consulting.
  • Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in IT or consulting environments.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) or four (4) additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Security Clearance:

Must possess an IT-II (Non-Critical Sensitive) or Tier 3 (T3) clearance.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
  • DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification – Category IAM Level I (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CAP, GSLC).
