Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking a Healthcare TASER Security Officer to support hospital personnel, vendors, patients, and visitors. You will respond to emergencies, de-escalate conflicts, and maintain a secure healthcare environment in daily operations.

Responsibilities include patrolling, screening visitors, monitoring CCTV, documenting incidents, and providing courteous, professional service while adhering to policy and training. Valid TASER CEW certification and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, healthcare security, corrections, or security preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain security license and TASER certification.
• Lift and drag up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
• Screen and direct visitors and control access.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to calls.
• Use verbal de-escalation to manage disturbances.
• Carry and maintain TASER CEW per policy.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain documentation.
