Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking a Healthcare TASER Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff, visitors, and healthcare facilities. You will respond to emergencies, de-escalate tense situations, and carry a TASER (CEW) under company policy and training.

Responsibilities include patrolling premises, screening visitors, monitoring CCTV, documenting incidents, and delivering professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior security or healthcare security experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain TASER CEW certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols.
• Screen and direct visitors, enforce hospital guidelines, and control access.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to emergencies and calls for service.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to manage disruptive or aggressive individuals.
• Carry and maintain certification for a TASER (CEW) and use it only in accordance with policy and training.
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports.
• Escort personnel, visitors, and patients while providing exceptional customer service.
