Job summary

ISO New England, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to manage the Company’s Tariff using specialized software, assist attorneys with regulatory tariff filings, and provide paralegal support through legal research and the tracking of energy industry matters.

You will receive hands-on training from the tariff coordinator and other staff, with opportunities to grow expertise in the energy sector, excel at process-driven work, and develop spreadsheets and tracking tools while expanding

Qualifications

• Paralegal with 1+ years of experience in a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department; or administrative professional/analyst seeking growth in tariff administration and energy law.
• Strong computer skills and Excel proficiency; comfortable with online project tracking tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication, meticulous proofreading, and attention to detail.
• Proactive, can-do attitude toward new tasks and responsibilities; knowledge of energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn tariff administration process and update tariff using tariff software; assist with tariff tracking systems.
• Manage software-based filings to FERC and other agencies; coordinating documents and publication.
• Conduct legal research on tariff issues and assist attorneys with research tasks.
• Draft documents for attorneys.
