Job summary

Yoh Staffing seeks a Corporate Paralegal with energy industry experience in Audubon, PA for a HYBRID contract role. Expected pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour.

The paralegal will support legal and compliance efforts, prepare filings, and coordinate with attorneys across internal departments and external agencies. Responsibilities include assisting in FERC filings, managing Service Agreements and tariff processes, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years paralegal experience in corporate legal department, governmental agency, or public utility company in an energy/electricity/FERC-related role or similar regulatory environment.
• Paralegal certificate or 4+ years of demonstrated relevant experience.
• Possess in depth knowledge of the FERC and how regulated entities prepare and file tariff documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and filings; assist with drafting, processing, updating and filing tariff and tariff-related agreements; coordinate assignments and workflows for attorneys.
• Provide legal support for counsel in stakeholder processes, litigation and regulatory proceedings at state and federal levels.
• Assist in FERC filings by organizing governing agreements and tariff sections, and drafting filing letters.
• Manage Service Agreements: tracking effective/expiration dates, coordinating with clients to maintain regulatory compliance, and reviewing pro forma documents for conformity.
• Oversee tariff maintenance and administer the eTariff database to grant access levels to personnel; operate the eTariff system with backup support.
