Job summary

Leidos seeks a Mid Level Targeting Intelligence Instructor at Langley Air Force Base to deliver formal training, develop curriculum, and facilitate exercises for Air Force personnel in Targeting operations.

Candidates should have a TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience, and proven ITD/ATD targeting expertise; prior instruction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience (additional years may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• Documented targeting experience within the DoD or IC
• Experience in ITD, ATD, joint targeting or comparable targeting functions
• Ability to work in a structured training environment and deliver instruction to operational targeting missions
• Professionalism, subject‑matter expertise, and adherence to training standards

Responsibilities

• Provide formal training in support of the Targeting Intelligence Formal Training Unit (TIFTU)
• Develop, update, and maintain course materials, lesson plans, training aids, and instructional products
• Deliver classroom instruction, conduct evaluations, and administer testing
• Facilitate practical exercises and scenario-based training events
• Instruct on core targeting topics: ITD, ATD, CA, TSA, Target Discovery, Mission Planning, Joint Targeting Cycle
